About the Role - Facility and Technical Manager

As NAOM prepares to unveil its expansive 3000 sqm space in the heart of Stockholm's city center, which includes a design store, 1200 sqm of exhibition space, a restaurant, a cocktail bar, and three additional serving outlets, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facility and Technical Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and exhibitions. 

Responsibilities:

• Building Maintenance: Take charge of maintaining the functionality and appearance of NAOM's facility to create a welcoming and safe environment for our visitors.
• Vendor Management: Serve as the main point of contact for external vendors, service providers, and maintenance contractors, including those responsible for cleaning, security, and other essential services.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards to guarantee the well-being of our staff and visitors.
• Technical Supervision: Oversee the technical aspects of NAOM, including exhibitions; sound, light, and image systems, to ensure seamless operation and a captivating experience for our visitors.
• Exhibition Installation and Dismantling: Coordinate the delivery, setup, and dismantling of exhibitions, including managing sound, light, and image systems, as well as coordinating security and deliveries for events and parties.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in facility management, including building maintenance, vendor management, and safety compliance.
• Proven experience in technical management, preferably in a hospitality or cultural venue setting. And a strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment and systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of property management and fire safety regulations is a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Working Conditions

• Type: Full-time.
• Working hours: This position may require occasional evening and weekend work.
• Start date: Immediate, June 2024.
