Job Description - Field Service and Customer Request Manager

Summary

As part of our “Air Traffic Control Center” projects for our European customers, you will be deployed on one of the customer sites to provide site support and interface with the Thales teams in the factory (Project Manager, Systems Engineers, SW developer, and Integrators).

Key Responsibilities and tasks:

Participation in hardware and software integration and deployment activities

-The first point of contact for any customer request

- Support in the development of the client's

operational dataset (data and offline system parameters)

- Accountable for the end-to-end management of incidents

- Analysis of system anomalies raised by the

client's technical teams or by controllers, in conjunction with the factory teams, support to software teams for correcting/closing defects

- Understanding of operational problems, allowing prioritization and detailed feedback to controllers

- Analysis of the client's new technical and

functional needs, capture of business opportunities

- Weekly reporting to the client and to the Project Manager

Desired skills and experience:

- Master in Engineering with IT focus

- Recognized experience in the

field of air traffic control on a technical, functional and operational level

- Mastery of functionalities linked to the flight plan (coordination and

profile)

- Experience from system engineer or developer in complex environments for at least 5 years

- Fluent in English

- Enjoys teamwork

- Experience from international environment

- Good communication and customer relations

- Autonomy and rigor, strong responsiveness, ability to negotiate and manage crisis situations

- Good knowledge of Linux and scripts (Python, Perl); other programming

languages (Java, C) would be a plus

- Network knowledge (CISCO and/or JUNIPER)

- Software architecture knowledge
