Job Description - Implementation Consultant

Your role

You will be joining 4C as Implementation Consultant, primarily supporting implementations of software projects for our Military clients where you and your team will focus on delivering expert services and software training solutions to the Military sector in the Nordics. This includes improvement of existing solutions, as well as launching new functionality and initiating the work with entirely new clients and scopes. 4C has been a preferred supplier to the Nordic armed forces for many years and our software solutions support in assessing, visualising and exploit training data to support decision making, build capabilities and increase their training readiness.
The Exonaut platform is highly scalable and configurable, enabling allied forces to plan, programme, design, manage and optimise complex exercises, training progressions and experimentation. Due to the change in global safety situation in later years, these topics are more relevant than ever and so is your work to build a safer society.

Working collaboratively in a project delivery team, your main responsibilities include:

  • Investigate and understand the clients’ need through extensive analysis and transfer these into requirements, hence making sure you end up with relevant technical strategies and solutions.
  • Plan, design, develop and implement software solutions to meet business- and project targets.
    Tailor current frameworks and tools to ensure successful projects
  • Build close relationships with your clients and ensure good partnership and communication throughout the process.
  • Act as technical project manager on various implementation engagement where you are responsible for planning and driving the technical implementation of our Exonaut software in large scale projects.
  • Supporting clients as expert in various areas connected to training, risk- and crisis management and train external users/clients to our software solutions and offering first line support during the project delivery process
  • Troubleshooting product issues during the entire project delivery process, fixing them and escalating when relevant
  • Creating user guides and product workflows
  • Developing long-term, positive relationships with customers and increasing overall account satisfaction.
  • Communicating complex technical information to stakeholders of various technical knowledge

Who you are

You are a technically skilled and resourceful self-starter with well-developed interpersonal skills and a deep sense of customer service. Our deliveries are truly a team effort, and you and your team will be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment where no two days are the same. You are also driven by having meaningful impact and show great level of integrity and accountability.

We believe you have:

  • 3+ years of experience with implementations, with applications or as IT-consultant
  • Experience in tools such as GitLab, Jira and Miro
  • Experience in requirement analysis, user story mapping, databases and data visualisation (qlick, e-charts)
  • Previous commercial experience in a consulting or client-facing role
  • Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders from various technical backgrounds
  • Previous exposure to project management principles
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative setting
  • Flexibility to travel to meet clients
  • Experience from the military and/or defence industry is a strong merit
  • Experience from a military role or military service is a strong merit

  • Start date: Upon agreement
  • Employment type: full time (with six months probationary employment)
  • Location: Vattugatan 17, Stockholm


As our customers operate within fields that require security clearances, all employees of 4C Strategies need to be able to obtain a security clearance if required. Swedish citizenship or citizenship is an absolute requirement for the position.
