Logistics Manager

Role Overview:

As a Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing Karo Healthcare's logistics and supply chain processes. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, you will ensure smooth and efficient transport operations, both domestically and internationally. Your expertise in road transport, import, export, and customs will significantly contribute to our operational excellence and compliance.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Drive and/or support global logistic projects within the Global Logistics Team, i.e improving efficiency, cost, transparency (warehousing/transports/customs etc)
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage and optimize transport operations, including road, import, export, and customs procedures
• Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and identify improvement opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to logistics and transport
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with overall business goals
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function

Requirements

• Preferably an academic degree or the equivalent in Supply Chain / Operations / Logistics / Engineering
• Approximately 10 years of experience in logistics or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
• In depth knowledge of common IT tools (Microsoft Office) and experience from ERP systems and planning tools. (IFS / SAP/ So99+ is an advantage)
• Flexible and adaptable with an action oriented, proactive and analytical mindset
• Independently manage problem solving and drive solutions in an effective and cost cautious way
• Extensive experience in transport operations (road, import, export) and customs. Experience in this area will be considered a significant advantage
• Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change with determination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
