Project and Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is a part of Manufacturing Development at IKEA Industry. Our mission is to enable Project excellence at IKEA Industry.

As a team, the ambition is to provide project management competencies for global projects and to develop, educate and support project people in Project Management. We collaborate, support, and spread our competence all over IKEA Industry and in collaboration with Inter IKEA to share knowledge and experience for our common ground, project management.

Job Description

IKEA Industry Digital are providing Infrastructure Technology & Operational Technology (IT&OT) and have several initiatives in the pipeline requiring a project lead to structure and drive implementation related to the digital agenda within IKEA Industry. The first assignment is a common initiative for IKEA Group to implement the next generation desktop service at IKEA Industry factories. We need a project leader to keep the scope of IKEA Industry requirements together, also securing communication and change throughout the process.

As a Project Leader within Digital, you will lead projects within IKEA Industry and report to the IT&OT mgmt. and deliver the result to the receiving organisation – all within agreed purpose, goals, scope, time, budget and with agreed quality. Collaboration with stakeholders is important to secure a successful delivery of the project.

• Manage projects within set frames for scope, time, and budget
• Prioritize activities to reach the best output
• Be a part of various types of projects for e.g., digital enablement, technology development, process development and deployment of new solutions

• Communicate with key resources and secure awareness, support, ownership, and alignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are enthusiastic about digital development and implementing new solutions . You are curious and enjoys building trustful relationship and partnership in a multicultural environment. You get energy by delivering result in project form and you understand the importance of change management and team building.

• Large portion of technology interest and in future trends
• Natural curiosity and eager to learn
• Some years of experience in IT & OT
• Finds it easy to capture user and business requirements transformed to actionable Objective Key Results (OKRs)
• You have 2-5 years of leading digital projects
• Good leadership skills are structured and driven.
• A practical mind set and like to be hands on.
• Experience in leading projects and knowledge of project management processes.
• A Master of Science or University Degree in engineering or information technology – or equal working experience
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in teams and have a strong interest in establishing trust with various stakeholders.
• A passion to lead change and develop people
• Experience from working in a multicultural environment
• Experience from IT, Infrastructure or Digitalization projects are important in this role 

Additional Information

Location for this position is in IKEA Industry office in Malmö, Sweden
he position requires global travelling (+50 travel days yearly).
