Senior Consultant within PR

Together with a partner we are now looking for an experienced person having worked within PR or as a Copywriter for our customer.

This role mixes elements of written communication, PR strategy and coordinating projects all in a global environment. Responsible for the retail communication as well as “thought leadership” initiatives, this role focuses on both auto- and lifestyle communication. This role will keep developing the retail communication with new concepts and narratives, acting as a strategic partner for teams in developing strategy and best practices for retail events, ensuring they use their Spaces and events in a way that also generates media coverage.

Assignment description and main responsibilities

• Coordinate communications projects within the fields of performance, design and innovation
• Develop new (creative) concepts and support in amplifying events and campaigns in global retail Spaces to get media reach
• Develop narratives that elevate “thought leadership” and strengthen the brand
• Identify speaking opportunities and support the company spokespeople with messaging and media preparations
• Create and develop Q&A, briefing documents, press releases, etc. for planned activities, targeting non-automotive media groups
• Coordinate media outreach with markets and agencies ahead of big releases

Deliveries

Increased engagement with non-automotive media, using the Spaces as venues for "thought leadership" and lifestyle media coverage to support brand awareness.

Competence requirements

You have a background as a PR Manager or as a Copywriter, with an understanding of overall communications- and project management. Key is excellent (the closer to native the better) writing skills in English and a passion for building brands through strong PR. You have an ability (preferably experience) to network with colleagues, external influencers such as journalists and industry organizations, as this is a vital prerequisite of the job. You are comfortable coordinating projects and handling numerous stakeholders.

The team

This role will support the department and is part of a wider team consisting of 27 persons divided into 5 teams at our customers HQ as well as PR staff in other markets.

This is a consultant assignment (Interim) from may 2024 - march 2025. Full time, on site.
