Senior UX/UI Designer

Background

We are looking for an experienced strategic UX/UI designer with motion, product design and illustration skills who can support ongoing project work from value proposition to concept translation, concept development and concept execution. The work will happen within the New Business and Strategic Design team. This FTC will backfill for a designer during a mobility assignment and will be doing work for the Job 8 movements assignment.

The scope of the services is to assist 

You will be part of the Digital Experience Design Strategy & Research team and will collaborate with strategic XD and XD Researchers on different initiatives which explore how the many could meet enabled by digital solutions.

The work will entail in-depth execution of the ambition of future XD concepts by delivering concrete designs and experience concepts that span across product, service and brand and showcase future customer and co-worker experiences. The output of the work are animated experience design prototypes made up of digital UI, animated illustrations and motion vignettes. These videos and other highly engaging artefacts and communication materials will showcase the experience vision and help make the future (digital) experiences tangible and real for others.

The consultant can be based in Malmö, Sweden or Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Requirements

Requirements:

Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc

• Seasoned designer with 10+ years experience working on digital solutions and/or services
• Expert in animation and illustration of Product UI/UX for story telling purposes.
• In-depth experience (3+ years) with strategic design process
• Experience with exploring and articulating future user experiences to executive level stakeholders
• Ability to translate customer needs/insights into concrete designs
• Ability to bridge perspectives of product, service and brand
• Strong in visual design execution & visualising concepts
• Ability to create narratives for the design work and work with voice actors/copy writers to execute
• Proficient in working in an highly collaborative team where different design skills come together
• Able to edit videos and put together presentation collateral
• Experience working within Design systems a plus
