The Role

Job Summary:

Join our client as a Services Manager for their Datacenters and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operational execution at our assigned DC campus(es). Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, you'll be responsible for managing technicians, coordinating dispatches, and overseeing day-to-day activities. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading projects, and maintaining a high level of service excellence. If you have proven team leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in server hardware deployment and IT Data Center Services, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and manage personnel to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, product support, and company policies.
  • Lead a high-performing, cross-functional team to deliver contracted services support.
  • Foster a positive culture, embodying core tenets such as People First, Ownership Mentality, Quality, and Partnership.
  • Accountable for achieving customer support SLAs and effectively communicate status, issues, and needs.
  • Manage day-to-day customer relationships at the site level.
  • Assist Regional Manager with overall account management as needed.
  • Oversee planning and execution of site assessments, builds, transport, inventory, and deployments.

Ideal Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of related service manager experience, five (5) years of server hardware deployment and IT Data Center Services.
  • Proven team leadership experience.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with engineering processes, project management methodologies, and release schedules
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience.
  • CompTIA Server+ or equivalent experience.
  • CCENT or equivalent experience.
  • Windows OS experience.
  • CCNA certification preferred.
  • MCP/MSCE certification preferred.
  • Scripting experience preferred – PowerShell, Python, Bash.
