About the Role:

As a Business Controller at Quickbit, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects and contributing to the company's growth trajectory. Your role will involve optimizing routing of transactions, managing PSP onboarding, ensuring compliance with regulations, monitoring transactions, reconciling payments, and regulating settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Control: Monitoring, analysing, and reporting to ensure effective business control activities.
• Payment Reconciliation: Compare data from external sources with company systems and reconcile payments from PSPs for financial accuracy.

• Settlement Regulation: Regulate settlements to merchants in collaboration with the finance department to ensure financial regulation and compliance.
• Monitoring and overseeing the accounting for our three Swedish and EU-based companies: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by collaborating with external accounting firms.
• Collaborating with the CFO to ensure robust cash flow planning: Work closely with the CFO to forecast and manage cash flow effectively.
• Overseeing and executing payments to maintain a seamless payment flow: Ensure timely and accurate execution of payments to support business operations.
• Routing Optimisation: Optimising routing between different Payment Service Providers (PSPs) for efficient transactions.
• PSP Onboarding: Managing the onboarding process for new Payment Service Providers.
• Ensuring precise monthly closures and accruals, including consolidation following IFRS standards: Ensure accurate month-end closings and adherence to IFRS standards.
• Being responsible for quarterly reporting in compliance with IFRS and audit requirements: Prepare and submit quarterly financial reports in compliance with regulatory standards and audit requirements.
• Managing the annual report process for the parent company and the group, ensuring the completion of annual financial statements for subsidiary companies: Oversee the preparation and submission of annual financial statements for the parent company and subsidiary companies.
• Support the CEO in financial analysis.

Requirements:

• Strong background in business control and financial analysis.
• Proven experience in optimising financial processes and enhancing business performance.
• Fluency in both spoken and written Swedish and English is essential.
• Experience in publicly listed companies, preferably listed on NGM Nordic SME.
