Job Description



The Channel Business Development Manager is expected to develop the channel business for our Data Center Solution product range in the European region. The focus development regions will be targeted at countries like Italy, Turkey and Nordics where Delta would like to further expand our channel presence and local support reach.

The successful candidate will work directly with new potential partners to ensure business development deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other Delta colleagues and local partners in different countries within EMEA to ensure alignment and expansion of the channel.

  1. Maintain and increase sales of the Employer's products in the target European region
  2. Meet requirements and directives per annual KPI setting by management – adapt and redefine weighting of

  3. Responsible for development and performance of sales support activities in the target Data Center markets and assist with passing over other Delta Group products and market enquiries, as the company/regional strategy requires.
  4. Effectively develop new Delta channel partners, resellers and end customers in the target European Market regions with the aim of adequately covering the key market sectors.
  5. Coordinate with the existing distributors, channel and customers and maintain current relationships
  6. Build & maintain a relationship with every direct partner through regular emails, telephone calling, training & visits and extend this relationship maintenance to Tier 2 level partners as well as End customers in order to better control and direct the business development efforts.
  7. Handling various projects including tendering support, cost negotiations, assist with quality, billing and shipping where necessary.
  8. Contribute to the development and arranging of training for distributors, resellers, clients and their sales and technical staff.
  9. To develop and implement business plans in conjunction with management and other sales team members that will ensure consistent growth and profitability in line with Delta's objectives and to aim to meet and exceed agreed sales targets
  10. Establish plans and strategies in conjunction with management to expand the customer base in the Data Center market.
  11. Monthly reporting and regular feedback to management
  12. Assists with the development of marketing plans as required
  13. Organization of and participation in training events, exhibitions and partner marketing activities
  14. To adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  15. Keeping up to date with products and competitors 

Qualifications

  1. At least 10 years of experience in channel business development role especially for power infrastructure type product.

  2. Familiar with the Data Center Solution products and competitor landscape in the region and able to navigate the market and identify new potential channel partners as well as support and develop existing ones.

  3. English and Swedish are mandatory. Other European language skills are a plus.

  4. Proven working experience in channel business development

  5. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  7. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

  8. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  9. Business travel is mandatory based on development requirements
