Quality Assurance Test Engineer

As a result of our rapid international growth and multiple secured funding rounds, we are now expanding the team and looking for a Quality Assurancy Test Engineer to help us become the leaders in #teltech globally!

Your responsibilities

You will work in a cross-functional team and be integrally involved in meeting our challenge to develop robust high-quality products, with ever-increasing performance requirements. We continue our rapid growth and contribute to improving agility and time to market in a changing business environment.

As the company expands you will also be involved in interesting challenges in going live internationally and scaling up the platform from 10s of thousands of users to 10x and 100x times that!

Among other things, you will:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures based on project requirements.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software quality and stability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and requirements.
• Document and track software bugs in Linear or similar tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Perform compatibility testing across various devices, browsers, etc.
• Utilize existing Test Tools to maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, risks, issues, and test reports.
• Analyse system logs and other data sources to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide clear and concise feedback to developers and other stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices in quality assurance and the Telecom domain.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new tools, technologies, and domain-specific knowledge

What we look for

• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Functional/Manual testing working in a modern Tech organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with black box testing.
• Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to create and document traceability matrix, test cases, and test reports.
• Experience creating defect reports and documenting test results.
• Experience in doing QA for systems with/without graphical UI.
• Passion for QA and QA methodology.
• Strong Can-Do attitude and good teamwork skills.
• Experience in the telecom industry is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• A high level of proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• A passion for technology and a genuine interest in startups.
