The Data Platform is a distributed team by design, operating with Open Source principles to empower the team and studios to contribute equally. Beyond the core team, the team collaborates on a weekly basis with the 22 studios in the portfolio to improve data quality and richness. As a Senior Marketing Analyst within our data platform team you'll play a critical role in leveraging data to drive marketing effectiveness, optimize performance, and contribute to the overall success of the organization's marketing initiatives.
Your mission
- Overseeing the collection, processing, and management of marketing data within the data platform, ensuring data quality and data coverage that meet the needs for marketing professionals in the group
- Developing and executing a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with marketing goals and objectives, utilizing the capabilities of the data platform to drive insights and decision-making
- Design and implement data pipelines and architectures that structure and enhances collected data to create actionable and clean data sets for downstream use cases
- Expertise in creating sophisticated and visually appealing data visualizations that demonstrate best practices and UX principles
- Working closely with marketing teams, data scientists, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to align analytics efforts with business objectives, share insights, and drive continuous improvement
- Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics and data management, and providing expertise to drive innovation and excellence within the organization
Your backstory
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, marketing analytics or a related field
- Passionate about bringing order and quality to marketing data down to the details - AppsFlyer SSOT, SKAN and IDFA are not foreign acronyms to you
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets
- Comfortable working with advanced SQL and Python features
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- A solid understanding of marketing principles, including customer segmentation, marketing channels, campaign analysis, and attribution modeling
- Knowledgeable in writing data transformations and managing large pipelines with big-data like databases like Redshift, Snowflake, or Databricks
- Verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- As a senior member of the team, you are expected to provide leadership and guidance to junior analysts, contribute to strategic planning, and drive initiatives to improve processes and efficiency
