Our Marketing team is expanding, and we are looking for a Brand Activation Manager to elevate the Rugvista brand to new heights. This new role merges the best of digital marketing with innovative strategies in utilizing social channels and PR.

About the role
The role includes the following focus areas:
Our Marketing team acts as a full-service in-house agency, working with SEM, SEO, branding, content production, social media, influencers, campaign management, and CRM.
You will be part of the Brand & Content Marketing team, working closely with stakeholders across the company, including our performance marketing team based in Berlin, and external partners when necessary. You will report to the CMO, and the position is based at our headquarters in Malmö, Sweden.
How you make an impact
Responsible for Rugvista brand media plans, including planning and buying media. In-depth knowledge about digital media channels (such as Meta, Youtube, Pinterest and TikTok) as well as more traditional media (TV, print) is mandatory.
Responsible for Rugvista Brand activation plan, driving initiatives supporting our brand position. Examples of brand activations can be cross team projects such as Rugvista Design competition, implementing UGC tools and/or social shopping, but also smaller initiatives such as in packaging/store, communication.
Initiate and drive collaborations supporting our Brand activation plan, as well as utilizing PR from our branded initiatives. Collaboration can include brand ambassadors, influencers, brand collaborations, but also more sales focus initiatives such as magazines and voucher swaps etc.
Utilize PR possibilities in social media forums and incoming requests from designers and media. Identify new collaborations and outreach opportunities to promote Rugvista’s brand image and products.
Responsible for Rugvista’s annual design competition and events connected to this to generate PR.
Shared responsibility fororganic brand channels in close cooperation with Community Manager who isresponsible for organic social channels (Meta & influencers)
Responsible for Rugvista strategic brand campaigns, including briefing of assets needed for brand channels. Ensuring deliveries from the Creative Team and potential external agencies are in line with brief and brand expression.
Ensure the Rugvista brand position (Visual identity and ToV) is followed in all channels.
Define brand equity measurement framework, set up dashboards, measure and follow up.
Brand budget responsibility
Keeping up to date with current developments within the online marketing industry to proactively incorporate relevant trends and innovations.
What you bring
Deep expertise and a proven track record in setting up media plans and buying media, with hands-on experience on digital channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok.
A deep understanding and passion for building strong brands in the fast-moving digital landscape.
Strong interpersonal skills as a people person who can build and influence relationships with stakeholders, both inside and outside the company.
Experience in PR & collaborations, focusing on social media platforms and forums, influencers/brand ambassadors, and connected offline magazines.
Knowledge, interest, and passion for the online creator landscape.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage different target groups across various social media platforms.
Experience in defining and developing branding activities, content, events, and competitions in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
The ability to work both in a team and independently with high drive.
High energy, impact orientation, and a strong desire for personal development.
A passion for both the creative and business aspects of branding.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, a structured problem-solving approach, and the ability to set and adapt priorities.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and social media monitoring and listening tools.
Proficiency in English is essential, and Swedish is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience working with multiple European markets is a plus.
