WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Optimization and continuous development of our IT infrastructure Installation and support of user workstations, including mobile devices, using the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager Design and implementation of complex Linux and Windows server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, IIS) Windows domain administration including identity and access management (IAM) Implementation of the global security concept (backup, firewall, endpoint detection and response, patch management) Management of the public key infrastructure (PKI) Support and further development of Oracle and MS SQL databases Administration of the LAN/WAN infrastructure and central storage systems (SAN) Support and administration of VMware, Citrix XenApp server farms and Docker containers Administration and further development of Microsoft 365 and Azure services Planning and implementation of hardware and software updates Monitoring all components involved in the IT process with regard to security and availability using existing monitoring tools Collaboration and management of complex IT projects with cross-departmental cooperation Obtaining hardware and software offers from external service providers and suppliers Creation of user documentation, general system documentation and installation instructions WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU Successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration, computer science degree or comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field Current Microsoft certification is an advantage Very sound knowledge of the Linux and Microsoft operating systems, including the administration of Windows domains and public key infrastructure (PKI) Experience in the administration of Dell storage systems, Veeam Backup, VMware vSphere (or comparable hardware and software) as well as Microsoft 365 and Azure Services Ideally knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructures with Cisco components, SQL and Oracle databases as well as Citrix XenApp and Docker containers Flexibility and willingness to participate in regular IT on-call duty Strong customer and service orientation Very high analytical ability and quality-conscious and conscientious working style Reliability and sense of responsibility Independent working style and strong ability to work in a team Good written and spoken English skills WHAT WE OFFER Full time 38.5 hours/week Additional benefits: Vacation and Christmas bonus and performance-related pay Bicycle leasing, EGYM Wellpass and much more.
