As the Nordic HR Director Invent and trusted advisor for the Global Business Line (GBL) Invent, you will be accountable for partnering with the “Nordics”, which comprises of two Invent Leadership teams; Norway and “SweDFi” (Sweden, Denmark & Finland). With the respective country leaders you will develop, direct and drive the overall Nordics Invent people agenda, incorporating both local and global priorities.
You will work as a peer, with the respective Senior Leadership teams. You will understand the business strategy to translate it to a clear people strategy, focusing on priorities today and the longer-term strategy and then deliver on it. In addition, the role is accountable for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the HR processes and other critical initiatives in the areas of talent management, performance management, skill & capability development and employee engagement.
Capgemini is part-way through a People transformation program to become a more digital and agile player focusing on employee experience. HR digital transformation is a central part of this, by promoting true strategic HR Business partnering and show casing how to increase efficiency through HR Shared Services and Self Service. An ability to lead and participate in the continued HR transformation is necessary, to ensure that the HR function supports business growth and evolution.
The Capgemini organization is a matrixed organization. This matrix impacts this role as well. While there are many programs and initiatives driven by the Invent GBL globally, there may be programs and initiatives that are driven by the country teams in the Nordics and the Capgemini Group. Initiatives are often aligned from a global and local standpoint but there may be some areas of differentiation that need to be managed carefully. The art of negotiation and influence without authority will be critical skill sets for the incumbent to ensure the multiple stakeholders are effectively managed.
The role reports to the Invent HRD for Northern & Central Europe (NCE). There is leadership support both in Nordics and at the global level for the person in this role. The successful incumbent should, however, be able to work autonomously, focused on the unique needs of the Invent Nordics organization.
As the Nordic HR Director for Invent, your responsibility will be to build effective and long-lasting, trusted relationships with key business stakeholders including senior leadership, Centers of Excellence (talent, recruiting, compensation & benefit, HR shared Services, etc). You will develop and deliver the people agenda for the Nordics Invent business, ensuring alignment with the Group and Invent HR strategy and the Nordics region. The role will support and drive the transformation agenda of Invent, including initiatives such as, Talent Development and Succession Planning.
