The Senior HR Manager develops and maintains trusted partnerships with business leaders and pro-actively supports their HR leadership team to set and deliver a quality HR service. They support the business through collaboration and effective communication with Cluster HR Team, HR Shared Services, HR CoE's, other HRBP's and business leaders. They provide advice and support to managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle. Focused on executing key people initiatives such as company-wide human relations programs including talent management, talent acquisition, performance and compensation planning, learning & development, workforce planning, mobility and immigration. This role will take a lead on disciplines locally; Talent Acquisition, Employee Development, Local benefits, Project Management and/or HR Policy Management as well as manage the relationship with the Union.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Drive HR initiatives across Sweden functions, local, regional and global, aligning with strategic and operational objectives.
Ensure that Human Relations Policies and practices comply with applicable labor/ laws and contracts. Working as part of the senior leadership team to lead on the requirements with the local Union.
Provide an end-to-end HR services for Managers and Employees on HR processes, working with CoEs and HR Shared Services to ensure a seamless one HR team service is provided. Maintains excellent standards of delivery to ensure compliance to HR requirements
Review and approve job descriptions for organizational alignment. Provide input to the Compensation & Benefits team regarding salary reviews, employee promotions and procedures for global total rewards programs.
Work closely with recruiting teams (TA) to drive and manage HR processes and programs to meet workforce requirement and initiatives. Guide managers with recruitment strategies, screening of candidates, interviewing, selection, interviewing and onboarding.
Manage employee relations by leading investigations across the functions. Collaborate and work closely with functional and local leaders, where applicable, to provide timely and effective results. Coach managers on employee issues, assist them in resolving in a timely manner.
Work in collaboration with the business on workforce planning and organizational design changes by coaching, advising and guiding through legal and organizations requirements to ensure a fair and compliant outcome. Work with the business to establish a workforce plan and continuously monitor headcount/budget controls with Finance.
Participate in planning & leading the talent review process and translating business and personnel development needs to HR requirements; define short-term and long-term plans & programs and initiatives to achieve objectives.
Leads on the development, implementation and delivery of Learning and Development solutions for the business. Manage the L&D offering for the affiliate including the co-ordination and communication of external L&D providers. Analyzing the outcomes and propose improvements.
Resolves complex issues. Limited precedent or guidance maybe available through broad functional policy, such as existing philosophies, practices and/or standards.
Leads or collaborate with the business and Regional/Global HR functions, on project-based initiatives as identified to support business and HR objectives
Analyze, validate, and communicate strategic HR analytics to the business allowing them to make informed people decisions.
Implement continuous improvement and change management initatives in accordance with business and function objectives.
Active part of the Sweden Senior Leadership team taking the lead on HR initiatives driving positive engagement and enabling an inclusive culture. Working with local colleagues on a comprehensive Wellbeing plan and deliverables.
Work with and use HR systems including; Workday, Smartsource, Tableau, Market Pay. Ensure Workday is kept updated and use the reporting tool as/when needed.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Bachelor’s degree specialization HR, Master’s degree preferred
HR Business Partnering background, significant experience of working within Sweden in a similar role with CoEs and HR Shared Service Centre preferable
Excellent team player with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the business and cluster/regional HR teams
Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills
Highly tenacious and resilient with the ability to work in an agile manner.
Comfortable with change with a growth mindset
High level of analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience of working in a dynamic organization
Working proficiency in Swedish and English language
