Account Management Team Manager

Join Eletive to build workplaces where people thrive!

Did you know that engaged employees feel a stronger sense of meaningfulness in their work and are 3x more likely to stay with their company? At Eletive, we believe engaged employees are the key to thriving organizations. That’s why our vision is simple: a world where people thrive at work and feel motivated and empowered to perform at their best.

Eletive is not just our company name—it’s also the name of our intelligent People Success Platform. Our platform helps organizations measure and increase engagement, fostering workplaces where people truly thrive.

We’re on an exciting scale-up journey with ambitious global growth plans—and that’s where you come in!

What's the role about?

As Account Management Team Manager, you'll lead a team of three Account Managers while actively contributing to the team's commercial success. You'll combine hands-on leadership with direct responsibility for your own customer portfolio, with a particular focus on our larger Enterprise accounts.

The Account Management team plays an important role in growing our existing customer base by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. These opportunities may come from your own prospecting and relationship-building efforts or through close collaboration with our Customer Experience team. From upselling and cross-selling to renewals and strategic account development, the team works to strengthen customer relationships and drive sustainable revenue growth.

This is not a role where you'll lead from the sidelines. You'll coach and develop your team, set clear priorities, follow up on performance, and help each Account Manager succeed—while also managing your own accounts, building a strategic sales pipeline, and closing deals yourself.

We're looking for a commercially driven leader who enjoys staying close to the business. You'll have the opportunity to influence how we develop our account management approach, improve ways of working, and build a high-performing team as Eletive continues to grow.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing your team: Lead, coach, and support a team of three Account Managers. Set clear goals, follow up on individual and team performance, share best practices, and help your team develop the skills and confidence to grow accounts and achieve their sales targets.

• Growing existing customer accounts: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand our services within existing client accounts. This includes upselling additional features, upgrading customers to other packages, and selling integrations or service packages that create more value for our customers.

• Managing strategic enterprise accounts: Take ownership of your own portfolio, focusing primarily on larger Enterprise customers. Build lasting relationships with key stakeholders, understand their business needs, develop strategic account plans, and identify opportunities to grow each partnership.

• Driving renewals and customer retention: Support the team in securing renewals and protecting recurring revenue. When agreements are approaching expiration, work closely with Customer Experience to ensure a smooth process, negotiate commercial terms when needed, and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Building a strategic sales pipeline: Ensure that you and your team proactively identify new opportunities through customer relationships, prospecting, networking, and referrals. Maintain a healthy pipeline and turn opportunities into tangible commercial results.

• Driving sales performance and continuous improvement: Use CRM systems and sales tools to maintain accurate pipeline data, forecast results, and follow up on performance. Explore smarter ways of working, including AI tools, and continuously improve how the team manages accounts and drives growth.

• Combining leadership with hands-on execution: Stay close to the day-to-day work of the team. Balance coaching and performance management with customer meetings, negotiations, and closing deals yourself. Lead by example and demonstrate what successful account management looks like in practice.

• Collaborating across teams: Work closely with Customer Experience, Marketing, Product, and other relevant teams to uncover opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure a joined-up customer experience that supports long-term business growth.

To thrive in the role we believe that you …

• Have a successful track record of driving sales and growing customer accounts in a international organization, or a fast-growing scale-up within SaaS. Experience in the HR space is a plus.

• Have a strong commercial mindset and know how to close deals, identify growth opportunities, and turn customer relationships into revenue.

• Have experience with upselling, cross-selling, renewals, and strategic account development. Experience managing larger Enterprise accounts and complex stakeholder relationships is a strong advantage.

• Have experience leading, coaching, or developing others and are motivated by helping people achieve their full potential.

• Enjoy combining leadership with hands-on sales work. You're just as comfortable coaching a team member as you are negotiating with a senior stakeholder or closing a deal yourself.

• Are structured and organized, pay attention to detail, and understand the importance of accurate documentation, CRM updates, and reliable forecasting.

• Are tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce. You also have hands-on experience using AI tools to support your sales work and are always looking for smarter ways to work.

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and new ways of working are part of everyday business.

• Have a self-starter mindset. You proactively identify opportunities for improvement, take ownership, and turn ideas into action.

• Possess strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, and collaborate effectively with internal teams to drive business growth.

• Are fluent in English and any Nordic language, both written and spoken.

• Enjoy spending most of your working time at our Malmö office, working closely with your team and customers.

Yet also that you are aligned with our Core Values:

• We Grow Together: You value teamwork, enjoy helping others succeed, and believe that sharing knowledge makes the whole team stronger.

• We Innovate and Iterate: You embrace new ideas, continuously improve your approach, and look for smarter ways to strengthen customer relationships and drive sales.

• We Lead Ourselves: You take ownership of your own accounts and your team's results, lead by example, and approach challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

This role requires authorization to work in Sweden as it’s based in Sweden. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time, but we welcome applications from everyone eligible to work in the EU.
