Description:

Marsh is seeking an Actuary to become a vital part of our Risk Analytics Team in the Nordics. This is a hybrid working role, based out of our offices in Stockholm. If you have a quantitative and/or actuarial background and are eager to leverage your analytical and communication skills to drive growth, this is the opportunity for you!

We will count on you to:

  • Provide technical Solvency II actuarial analysis to support major corporate clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Optimize client insurance portfolios through financial analysis and benchmarking.
  • Lead projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Marsh’s high standards.
  • Collaborate with the Marsh Analytics Solutions (MAS) team to develop innovative techniques and promote best practices.
  • Engage with the MAS team across Continental Europe to foster consistency in our approach.

What you need to have:

  • A bachelor / master’s degree in Math, Physics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with a solid understanding of actuarial principles and methodologies, including Solvency II.
  • Preferably, a few years of actuarial work experience, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the insurance market.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • The capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
