DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and help build the next generation of communication technology. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models that power our products, impacting millions of users.

• Design, train, and deploy production-grade ML models, including text classification and image classification.
• Own the full ML lifecycle—from experimentation and validation to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for preprocessing, validation, and transformation of large datasets.
• Ensure ML systems are reliable, observable, and scalable in high-volume production environments.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams from problem definition to delivery.
• Implement and optimize ML algorithms using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Optimize model and system performance in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Experience with FastAPI development and monitoring.
• Promote best practices in experimentation, reproducibility, testing, monitoring, and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience building and deploying ML systems in production.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and API development (FastAPI).
• Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Databricks, Spark).
• Experience designing and maintaining production ML pipelines.
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Advanced or fluent English for conversation, writing and documenting code.

BIG PLUS

• Experience with Natural Language Processing and Image Processing applied to products and experimentation.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and high volume data practices for efficiency.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Lakehouse architectures.
• Global awareness and management/communication skills to explain technical decisions.

Salary: 

The monthly salary for this position is between 43,800 SEK - 60000 SEK. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
