POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Design Intern to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our founders and senior designers on a variety of projects, including the development of our company branding, website design, and user interface for AI client modules. As an intern at Daylited, you will gain hands-on experience with the latest design tools and techniques, contributing to real-world projects that shape our visual identity and user experience.




Please note: This is an unpaid internship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs for the company website using modern design tools.
• Contribute to the development of branding materials, including logos, brochures, and social media graphics.
• Collaborate with the team to design intuitive user interfaces for AI client modules.
• Work with UX principles to enhance user experience across all digital platforms.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to improve our design approach.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve design iterations.
• Create animations and interactive elements to enhance the visual appeal of our digital products.

TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGIES YOU WILL WORK WITH:

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD): Industry-standard tools for graphic and web design.
• Figma: Collaborative interface design tool for creating user interfaces and experiences.
• Sketch: Design toolkit for digital products.
• InVision: Prototyping tool for user interface designs.
• After Effects: For creating animations and motion graphics.
• HTML/CSS: Basic knowledge to understand and collaborate on web design projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field.
• Familiarity with at least some of the design tools mentioned (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, After Effects, HTML/CSS).
• Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Passion for learning new design techniques and staying updated with industry trends.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
