We are looking for our next

Automation & Electrical Engineer to join our team in Sweden!

Are you a fast learner that enjoys working with different systems? Do you like an international environment where you can work with colleagues from different parts of the world?

As our Automation & Electrical Engineer you will be based in our Customer Care team in Helsingborg. Your job will be to design and programming on projects for electrical upgrades of our customers existing equipment. The projects are installed by our service engineers with your remote support and they vary from complete new control systems (control panels) to just adding a minor function. We work mainly in EPLAN for electrical design and Siemens TIA & some Step 7 for PLC & HMI programming.

What are we looking for ...

A driven and flexible person, who loves working as part of a team and gets energised by working in a multi-project environment; if this is you we believe that you will enjoy working at JBT as our Automation & Electrical Engineer. You will have colleagues worldwide, which means that fluency in English is required and Swedish would be a bonus.

As our new team member, we would like you to be analytical, hands on, an independent work, with high integrity. Aside from these personal skills, we need you to have:

• A degree within automation (ie from a YH-education / Yrkeshögskola)
• Experience in PLC & HMI programming
• Fluency in English, and Swedish would be great and any other language skills a “nice to have”

A bonus would be if you have a couple years experience working with electrical design and automation but remember that it’s a merit and not a requirement, so don’t let this stop you from applying. If you like international travel of approximately 20 days a year, this position will suit you.
