Do you love cars?  Are you looking to join a team and learn new skills?   We are seeking an individual in our Westmont, IL reconditioning center to transport vehicles between our center and our Automotive dealer clients.  

The ideal candidate takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses communication skills and has a valid driver’s license. Candidates must be able to drive and safely maneuver vehicles in tight and small spaces.

Xcite is streamlining the vehicle reconditioning process for car dealers across the country by combining the functions of Reconditioning, Vehicle Detailing and photography to get vehicles ready for sale FAST!  As a division of Xcite Automotive you will join a team of over 500 employees across the country.

Essential Duties:

•        Transport cars between client and shop locations with caution and obey laws
•        Check-in with client contacts, discuss and plan vehicle transportation
•        Move cars as directed by the managers
•        Mark key tags in vehicle management platform to clearly show vehicle location
•        Make sure keys are properly tagged for vehicles
•        Vehicles are to be parked and locked neatly in the designated areas

Vehicle Prep & other duties

•        Wash vehicles, clean interior and exterior windows
•        Vacuum interior of vehicle
•        Clean engine and engine compartment
•        Apply  dressing on tires and tire wells
•        Assist other departments when needed
•        Upkeep of shop cleanliness
•        Inspect personal work performance for maximum quality assurance

Qualifications:

•        Must be 18
•        Valid driver's license and car insurance
•        Ability to sit, bend, squat, and hold various positions for long periods of time
•        Must be able to lift 25 pounds
•        Successfully complete pre-employment background check, including driving record
