BI Developer

At SSC we enable our customers to make better use of space and we are dedicated to our mission of “Helping Earth benefit from Space”. Through the efforts of our over 700 employees around the world, we provide specialized competence in design, test, launch and operation of space and air systems.

We are looking for a BI Developer to join our Finance & BI Department. The person will report directly to the SVP of Finance & Business intelligence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer in the Space industry, you will pioneer the transformation of raw space data into actionable insights.

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions such as reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions.
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of BI solutions.

Who you are:

We think that you have a genuine interest in BI development and have a creative and analytical mindset. You have the ability to learn and process technical details quickly. You have strong team working skills and enjoy collaborating with others but also a good self-leadership.

• Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality principles
• Strong knowledge of BI tools and technologies, including the Microsoft Power Platform
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with SSIS and SSAS OLAP
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with financial reporting is a bonus.
• Fluency in English language

Nice to have skills, but not mandatory :

• Fluency in Swedish
• Experience in finance reporting
