BI/Power BI Developer

We are looking for an experienced Power BI developer for a public sector digitalization assignment. You will further develop existing Power BI reports and build new ones, perform data modeling connected to an attendance/tracking system, and independently create datasets once given access to source data. You will act as the requirements liaison between the business side and an internal BI team, and need to get up to speed on several underlying business systems used for HR, finance, and attendance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, both ongoing improvements and new builds
• Perform data modeling for reporting and follow-up needs
• Independently build and manage datasets from provided data access
• Translate business stakeholder needs into data models and reports
• Act as requirements recipient from the business side and requirements provider toward the internal BI/development team
• Get familiar with data across multiple business systems (HR, finance, attendance)
• Take ownership of a work area and be able to support/lead a small group if needed

• Proven, documented hands-on experience as a Power BI developer — this must be clearly evidenced in your CV/work history, including the share of your working time spent specifically as a BI/Power BI developer in each relevant role
• Strong hands-on data modeling and dataset creation skills (not just BI consulting, configuration, or product ownership)
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements independently
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
• Fluent Swedish and English
