The Health Through Gut Brand Team unites a global Danone leader in functional yogurts – Activia, and local Swedish jewel – functional fruit drink ProViva. Both brands’ products contain probiotics bacteria strains with clinically tested gut health benefits.

About the role:

We are now looking for a consumer- and commercially driven Brand Manager, getting energy from challenging business projects and passionate about turning brands into growth through winning market strategies.

Working in our team will allow you to be a part of a global multi-national organization, collaborating with the global dairy team in building and executing the relevant local marketing strategy of Activia in Nordics & Baltics. Simultaneously, you, together with the Senior Brand Manager and a peer Brand Manager, will have the full ownership of ProViva brand strategy, where everything, from campaign assets to new products, is developed in-house by close collaboration of marketing, sales, R&D and other cross-functional teams.

The scope of this role gives a rare opportunity for a Brand Manager to practice full-scale classic FMCG marketing, working with complete marketing mix: product & portfolio development, media & communication strategies, pricing & promotion in various sales channels. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

Co-develop long-term & short-term brands marketing strategy in Nordics & Baltics.

Develop & implement annual brands plans, including media strategy and other marketing mix initiatives (in collaboration with Shopper Marketing, Media Team, other stakeholders).

Partner with creative and media agencies to develop and adapt efficient and disruptive communication and activation mix, as well as unique brand assets and packaging design.

Contribute to development of superior brands portfolio, build short-term and long-term pipeline.

Lead innovation and renovation projects from ideas screening to national launch planning and continuous post-launch evaluation.

Own and manage brand A&P budget.

Monitor brands P&L, business, marketing, and communication KPIs.

About you

In order to be successful, you need to have:

5+ years of professional experience in marketing and brand management roles, preferably in FMCG environment.

Degree in marketing, economics or business administration.

Proven track record of successful marketing communication initiatives planning & implementation (communication campaigns, events, samplings, sponsorships, influencer collaboration, digital & SoMe campaigns, etc.).

New product development experience (market & competitive environment analysis, concept development, product brief, business case, Stage-Gate process, packaging, launch plan, post-launch analysis).

Experience of brand assets development (brand guidelines, equity campaigns for TV and other touchpoints, in-store POSm, OOH, trade media, print, etc.).

Experience of work with dairy, drinks, juice, functional food & drinks categories, as well as functional ingredients such as probiotics would be a plus.
