Job Description

Join our Global Tax Team and play a crucial role in shaping our processes related to indirect tax compliance. You'll ensure that our operational processes and tech solutions comply with legal standards while adding real value to the business. You'll work closely with the Global Indirect Tax Lead focusing hands-on to translate VAT requirements into tech solutions and tackle VAT-related data quality issues. 

Responsibilities: 

• Analyze financial data and review supply chain and accounting processes to identify and resolve gaps. 

• Conduct detailed VAT research and communicate requirements to technical teams. 

• Collaborate with various teams to enhance processes and implement new VAT solutions. 

• Oversee the setup, testing, and training for new VAT processes. 

• Drive the global rollout of a VAT governance tool, including its implementation and training. 

• Maintain clear and concise documentation to keep all stakeholders informed. 

• Collect, scope and translate e-invoicing and reporting requirements, to solutions teams 

What You'll Need: 

• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. 

• Proactive problem solver with a structured and organized approach to work. 

• Comfortable with project management and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. 

• Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude. 

Qualifications

• Background in finance, accounting, or related fields. A university degree is a plus but not mandatory. 

• At least 4 years of experience in finance and accounting with a focus on Indirect tax/VAT. 

• Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP, is highly preferred. 

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written. 

• Experience with business intelligence tools like PowerBI and Excel. 

• Additional experience with VAT in non-European regions or familiarity with other ERP and VAT compliance tools is advantageous but not required.
