C++ Gameplay Developer

If you're a skilled Gameplay Programmer with a passion for crafting exceptional co-op games for both PC and consoles, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in creating new features and content, as well as enhancing our current codebase. Our game is a live service offering, currently in the initial phase of post-launch updates, and we're committed to its long-term development before transitioning to future projects.

ABOUT YOU

You'll be instrumental in developing and refining gameplay features and systems. A knack for discovering engaging gameplay elements is essential. You'll leverage your expertise with our customized Stingray engine in C++, and familiarity with ECS programming patterns is beneficial. Your extensive experience in crafting game features and systems, especially for multiplayer shooters, will be crucial.

WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE

• Profound expertise in C/C++


• Over 5 years of direct experience in developing multiplayer game features and systems


• The capability to design dynamic systems with complex, interrelated behaviors


• A broad understanding of various game development areas, including gameplay, content generation, and overarching systems


• Knowledge of physics, animation, AI, and systems that contribute to spontaneous gameplay


• A strong foundation in 3D mathematics, including linear algebra, vectors, and matrices


• A track record of shipping games in a C++ framework, such as Unreal Engine or a bespoke engine


• Experience with live service game development


• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the innovation, expansion, and upkeep of game features and systems. You'll devise efficient solutions that consider memory usage, performance, scalability, and network reliability. Additionally, you'll prototype concepts to explore technical feasibilities and challenges.
