We are now looking for an experienced and driven Category Manager to help strengthen and grow some of Bygghemma’s key product categories.
We’re hiring a temporary team member to cover for a colleague on parental leave.
About the Role
As Category Manager, you own the sales, profitability, and development of your category. You expand and refine the assortment, secure competitive pricing through supplier negotiations, and optimize sales by adjusting pricing, campaigns, and product mix. The role is based at our Malmö HQ.
Main Responsibilities
Negotiate pricing and agreements with suppliers
Develop category strategy and annual plans
Ensure an attractive and competitive assortment
Plan campaigns and sales‑driving activities
Monitor competitors and evaluate new suppliers
Assess stock purchases based on pricing and profitability
Your Profile
You have at least 5 years of experience in category management and negotiation, strong analytical abilities, and a commercial mindset. You build solid relationships, manage complex business scenarios, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. You speak Swedish and English fluently, and experience from another industry is a plus—especially if you bring innovation and business development insights.
