Job Description - Channel Marketing Lead (Samsung Mobile)

Samsung Mobile are now looking for their next Channel Marketing Lead superstar to plan and execute channel and activation strategies for their mobile division.

As a Channel Marketing Lead, the individual in this role will play a crucial part in maintaining Samsung's market leadership and enriching the lives of its consumers.




About the position
The Channel Marketing Lead will be responsible for channel marketing and sales driven activation as well as for bringing concepts to the major sales channels. This includes responsibility for ensuring sell-through activation in the channels/stores where Samsung products are represented and sold. Co-hosting events are other areas where the CML will be responsible for planning and execute


Example of responsibilites

  • Develop marketing business plans with key partners and Key Account Managers for selected resellers and customers.
  • Optimize Samsung brand presence across various channels (ATL, BTL, CRM, homepage, in-store) for our MX Division products (Smartphone & Connected Devices).
  • Plan and execute yearly, quarterly, and monthly channel and activation strategies with operators and customers.
  • Collaborate with sales to set omni-channel strategies and ensure effective presence and activation for specific product groups.
  • Manage Samsung branded presence online and in-store, including planning fixed installations and ensuring branded retail ROI.
  • Organize and execute initiatives to reach existing and new customers in collaboration with the MX teams.
  • Plan and execute co-hosted events.


You background

We believe you have a university degree in marketing or communication, and it is essential that you are fluent in both Swedish and English, with strong verbal and written skills. You should have a few years of experience in Customer/Channel Marketing roles, focusing on sell-out growth. Experience in media and customer campaign planning is also essential. While B2C experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Additionally, a solid understanding of ROI, the local media landscape, and the consumer journey is important.

The position is a full-time(40 hours/ week) employment. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible, but no later than end of august 2024. Samsungs HQis located at Kista, of course you will have thepossibility of hybrid work.
