Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Sweed is an internationally acclaimed beauty brand with a profitable, fast-growing operation. We're currently undergoing an exciting global scale-up. Loved by beauty professionals and consumers in over 30 countries, Sweed is known for its clean formulas, premium quality, and Scandinavian design.

We're now seeking a driven and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team and lead our global operations.

The Role

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the COO will report directly to the EVP dotted line to the CEO. You'll play a critical role in transforming Sweed from a founder-led company into a self-reliant, scalable organization.

You will lead all operational aspects of the business - from supply chain and logistics to product management and regulatory compliance. Your focus will be on ensuring Sweed scales sustainably while maintaining efficiency, profitability, and excellence across every function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth environments, is passionate about building infrastructure, and is ready to take a brand to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and scale the Commercial and Supply Chain teams, encompassing sales, business development, logistics, planning, procurement, and inventory operations.

· Build and implement scalable processes and systems to support high-growth, multi-channel, and multi-market operations.

· Develop and track operational KPIs across all business units.

· Ensure strong cost control, operational efficiency, and alignment of resources with business priorities.

· Own operational planning and execution to deliver on growth, profitability, and customer experience goals.

· Partner with the leadership team on strategic planning, international expansion, product launches, and long-term business transformation.

· Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, leveraging data and insights for optimized decision-making.

· Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and high performance across operational teams.

· Identify areas for improvement and implement systems and tools that enhance efficiency, leveraging AI across the company.

Who You Are

· 4+ years of proven operational leadership in high-growth consumer product companies, with experience building teams, processes, and infrastructure from the ground up in both Commercial and Supply Chain.

· Strong track record in scaling DTC and/or multi-channel consumer brands.

· Proven P&L responsibility during a scale-up phase (100M+ SEK or similar).

· Exceptional leadership skills: able to inspire, build, and retain top-performing teams, comfortable managing 20–100 employees in a high-growth setting.

· Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to navigate between strategic and tactical levels.

· Strong communicator, collaborator, and driver of change.

· Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus).

· Bonus: Experience with international expansion, DTC models, and B2B operations.
