Then keep on reading and apply if the role sparks your interest!What you'll be doing day to day In this role you will enable Group Sustainability to be the voice and influencers of sustainability both internally and externally, sitting close to the business where decisions are made. You will do this by supporting on one or more of our strategic areas: Climate, Nature, Healthy and Sustainable Living, Fair and Equal and our overall sustainability strategy. You will be partnering effectively with colleagues in the full range of communication disciplines, such as media relations, public affairs, and campaigning. All of this while you keep the needs of relevant stakeholders, customers, and co-workers at heart. To be concrete this means that you will: • Be the strategic communication advisor for a wide range of initiatives that are part of the Ingka Group sustainability strategy, contributing to the overall IKEA People and Planet Positive strategy.
• Be a trusted strategic communication advisor and coach to stakeholders within the Group Sustainability function, enabling business leaders to understand and act upon communication risks and opportunities.
• Devise communication strategies for internal sustainability transformation initiatives, co-worker engagement, 360 integrated Comms, and issues management.
• Develop and deliver sustainability communication initiatives that are also part of the 10 jobs for Ingka – and you will together with the team help make the strategy and our sustainability actions more accessible to a larger target audience, both internally and externally. This is permanent role, located in Malmö, Sweden. You will report to Lone Vaerndal, Communication Business Manager Group Sustainability. You will be a part of a team of five Communication Business Partner colleagues and work closely together with the strategy teams in the area(s) you will support within Group Sustainability.
