TL;DR - We’re hiring a hands-on Controller to build and run the engine room of our finance function. You’ll lead our monthly close, own billing and compliance, and scale the systems that keep us audit-ready, cash-efficient, and built for speed. This is a critical role for someone who’s scaled finance ops before; and is hungry to do it again, better!

What we’re looking for

• 5–10 years in accounting, audit, or operational finance

• 2–5 years in-house at a Series A–C startup or scaleup

• Prior experience at a Big 4 or top-tier accounting/audit firm

• Led or supported a successful audit (investor, pre-IPO, or similar)

• Strong command of monthly close and reporting workflows

• Familiar with US GAAP, IFRS, and multi-entity structures

• Hands-on with finance systems and process automation

• Clear, structured communicator, especially in writing

• Based in Stockholm or New York (or open to relocating)

• Experience coordinating global audits and working with external auditors

• Bonus: Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition and SaaS-specific accounting

What you’ll do

In one sentence: Own the numbers. Tighten the machine. Help us scale with precision.

• Own our revenue operations — Ensure every customer is billed correctly and on time, track receivables, and reconcile incoming payments.

• Run our monthly close — Collaborate with our accounting partners to close fast, accurately, and with zero drift.

• Keep our cash tight — Oversee payables, monitor expenses, and maintain clean approval and payment workflows.

• Reconcile every number — Revenue, payroll, VAT, cash — if it moves, you’ll know why.

• Drive audit readiness — Prepare us for investor audits, tax reviews, and filings.

• Tighten and scale the machine — Reduce manual work, automate processes, and improve reporting as we grow.

• Partner across the company — Work closely with sales, ops, and leadership to track what’s going on and flag issues early.
