The Opportunity

Are you ready to drive change in a fast-paced, innovative environment? We’re looking for a Quality & Logistics Controller to join our team at Polestar. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide essential financial support, reporting, and strategic insights to both the Quality & Logistics (Q&L) team and management. You’ll be at the heart of Polestar’s growth journey, working alongside a passionate, supportive team at our headquarters in Gothenburg.

The Responsibilities

As the financial voice for Quality & Logistics fixed costs, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, delivering insightful analysis, and supporting strategic business decisions. You’ll also collaborate closely with the controller for variable Q&L costs, contributing to the overall financial efficiency of the organization.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide monthly financial reporting to the Q&L management team, FP&A, and accounting teams, offering key insights.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting by preparing accruals in line with SOX regulations.
• Support financial audits and maintain compliance with financial standards.
• Develop high-quality budgets and forecasts, working closely with business stakeholders.
• Assist in the purchasing process, ensuring financial efficiency.
• Handle business cases and ad-hoc financial requests to support decision-making.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or a related field).
• 5+ years of experience in similar financial roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively.
• Experience managing and executing work across multiple stakeholders.
• Solid accounting knowledge and financial reporting expertise.
