About The Role & Team

At Webull, the Group Finance Team plays a vital role in driving our company’s success. We're currently looking to strengthen our financial reporting function by adding a Corporate Consolidations Accountant to the team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in executing the monthly consolidation process using Oracle, reporting directly to our Director of SEC Reporting. You’ll also be responsible for (i) ensuring intercompany balances are eliminated; (ii) maintaining consolidation ledger adjustments, including IFRS to U.S. GAAP conversions; (iii) performing foreign currency translation; (iv) preparing the Global consolidation schedule in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

In This Role, You Will

• Maintain consolidation ledger adjustments, including but not limited to IFRS to U.S. GAAP adjustments.
• Proficiently manage foreign currency transactions and oversee the foreign currency translation process within Oracle.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding and application of U.S. GAAP principles throughout the consolidation process.
• Collaborate with subsidiaries to resolve consolidation-related issues and ensure compliance with reporting timelines.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements and system enhancements to optimize consolidation procedures.
• Prepare standard operating procedure documentation.
• Generate detailed reports and analysis to support financial decision-making and provide insights into consolidated financial statements.
• Stay updated with accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices, incorporating them into the consolidation process as applicable.

The Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
• Must have experience with Oracle’s consolidation process, foreign currency transactions and foreign currency translation.
• Motivated, self-starter, who can collaborate effectively and efficiently
• Strong problem solving, control, and project management skills
• Must have a sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills, and strong prioritization skills
