Country Controller - Sweden/Finland

Allente is a Nordic TV operator, providing top quality TV services to approximately 900 thousand customers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Net sales of Allente were SEK 6.6 billion in 2024.

Allente is owned 50/50 by Telenor Group and Viaplay Group and is a result of a merger between Canal Digital and Viasat Consumer May 2020.

As Business controller for Sweden and Finland, you will be an important member of the local finance team. You will work closely with the country organization and support the business with financial information and analysis. You will be a key business partner supporting and facilitating decision making in all areas within the local Swedish organization. You will also work closely together with controllers in the extended business and financial controlling group for the Nordics.

Your key responsibilities

• Monitoring business performance – together with finance and local management, track key financial metrics and identify improvement areas.
• Monthly closing – participate in the closing process, including reporting and KPI follow-up.
• Budget & Forecast – own and drive the planning process, ensuring realistic and data-driven forecasts.
• Business cases – lead the development of well-founded business cases that support strategic initiatives and investment decisions. Your ability to create reliable, data-driven, and structured analyses will be crucial in guiding the business towards sustainable growth.
• Management support – act as a key advisor to leadership, providing financial guidance for decision-making and business development.
• Process improvement – continuously refine and streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in controlling roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or equivalent.
• Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of financial KPIs, profit & loss, and balance sheets.
• Proven experience in developing and evaluating business cases, with an ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Structured, analytical, and execution-oriented mindset.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel (main work tool).
