Credit Collector

We are looking for a structured and results-driven Credit Collector to join our Credit & Collections team. You will manage overdue accounts, maintaining accurate credit records, and supporting sound credit decisions to minimize outstanding debts and financial risk. You will be reporting to the Credit & Collections Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Follow established procedures and guidelines to collect credit information and manage overdue accounts
Identify delinquent accounts and proactively contact customers regarding outstanding payments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit and collection records
Verify credit references to support accurate credit assessments and decision-making
Gather, compile, and document credit information to ensure correct account processing
Prepare reports on the status of credit and collection activities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues efficiently
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in finance or accounting is a plus)
2–4 years of experience within credit control, collections, or accounts receivable
Experience with credit policies, collections processes, and customer payment behavior
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
Proficient in financial or ERP systems
