Cybersecurity Solution Architect

Assignment description

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Cybersecurity Solution Architect with strong expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and embedded systems. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and evaluating cybersecurity solutions for both onboard and offboard systems, performing feasibility studies, and supporting implementation in a highly technical, cross-functional environment.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, solution vendors, and engineering teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are defined, aligned with regulatory standards, and effectively implemented across vehicle platforms and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define top-level cybersecurity attribute and functional requirements based on regulations (e.g., UNECE R155, R156, ISO/SAE 21434), threat analysis (TARA), and industry best practices.


• Evaluate potential technical solutions in the market with respect to feasibility, cost, time to market, and maturity.


• Drive the creation of solution roadmaps and initiate stakeholder engagement to address implementation enablers and blockers.


• Support cybersecurity implementation efforts by collaborating with architects and engineers throughout the development cycle.


• Collaborate with teams responsible for backend/offboard solutions to align system requirements.


• Ensure accurate handover of requirements to design engineers for low-level breakdown at ECU level.


• Adapt cybersecurity concepts to fit the constraints of specific vehicle programs or development cycles.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with PKI solutions.


• Skilled in performing Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA).


• Solid background in automotive embedded systems and cybersecurity architecture.


• Demonstrated experience with in-vehicle networks, connected services, and backend infrastructures.


• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and standards, such as R155, R156, and ISO/SAE 21434.


• Experience in authoring cybersecurity requirements and working in agile environments.


• Familiarity with C-ITS, ISO 15118-2/20, and wireless communication technologies.
