Join our Team About this opportunity The Engineering AI organization is at the forefront of driving data democratization, AI adoption and digital transformation within Networks R&D. Data and AI are critical enablers of this journey. We operate across several domains such as data management and governance, cloud deployments (on-prem, hybrid, public), AI/ML and Generative AI. Our mission is to empower R&D teams across Ericsson with the tools, knowledge, and infrastructure they need to innovate confidently. To continue this momentum, we are looking for a passionate Data and AI Foundation Developer to join our team and help shape the future of our Networks Analytics Foundation and Ecosystem. In this role you will work in a team to evolve this foundation's suitability for upcoming data and AI use cases. You will help democratizing access to, and availability of data. Further, you will develop state of the art data and AI enablers using on-prem, hybrid and public cloud solutions. These enablers will help our users to overcome any obstacle they meet on their data driven journeys and bring in important architectural enablers to the foundation. The projects we support are helping Ericsson to drive speed and quality in our releases, are providing the sales force with facts for up-sell opportunities and are helping our troubleshooters to identify and tackle problems with ease and speed. What you will do Design and develop new enablers for data management and AI Collaborate with users to understand their needs and translate them into scalable solutions Support adjacent teams in developing and integrating platform components Ensure our IT services are secure, stable and reliable Drive continuous improvements across the platform Foster a culture of experimentation, innovation and operational excellence You will bring Hands-on experience with one or more platform components such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, Object Stores, SQL/NoSQL, OpenSearch, Time Series Databases, Grafana, etc. Proficiency in deploying solutions across on-prem, hybrid and public cloud environments Understanding of security best practices Familiarity with data governance and management principles Knowledge of open-source and inner-source development models Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Analytical, structured and result-driven mindset Passion for innovation and driving changes Fluent in written and spoken English
