Our section, Main systems, is responsible for Scania's integrated chassis control system with completely self-developed functions and software. We work agile in cross-functional teams with co-located competence with great influence on our way of working and content.

We are looking for a new team member for ADAS sensor and sensor fusion group. The group is responsible for developing radar and camera sensors, sensor fusion. The group is composed of people with different backgrounds and specializations in function development, programming and testing, where everyone has a strong commitment to the team to deliver good business value in an efficient way.

We have several interesting challenges ahead to ensure that Scania continues to be part of the solution for the sustainable transport system of the future.

Your tasks

You will be part of the team working on the development of sensor fusion. The sensor fusion software takes information from the truck's sensors (radar, camera, map data and other sources) and compiles the information so that our ADAS functions can use them. By combining different sources of information, we can create a good picture of the world around the vehicles. This environmental picture is then used to control ADAS functionality.

The fusion team faces major challenges in adapting the fusion algorithms for the next generation sensor platform and for new ADAS functionality.

In the fusion team, you get the chance for a multifaceted and developing work where a lot of work is done within the group but a lot of collaboration with the other system development organization and our partners within TRATON.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have experience in system development of embedded systems. You have worked with implementation, testing, functional development or similar areas and are ready for the next step in your career. You are used to systematically developing features and work together with the team to ensure a complete delivery in each sprint. You have experience in developing complex control engineering and signal processing. You continuously take an active part in our quest to constantly improve.

You are a civil engineer or have equivalent experience. You are a driven and communicative person who is interested in developing further in your role. We also see that you are responsible, have good collaboration skills and have an interest in working with agile methods. Good knowledge of both Swedish and English is a requirement. Experience of systems engineering, systems development, functional development, control systems, testing or agile methods is an advantage.
