About the role

We are looking for a technically skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join an expanding DevSecOps & SRE team working across different markets. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our software development process, ensuring that our processes for delivery of software meet the highest standards of automation, speed and suitability. You will work closely with software developers, QA specialists and other stakeholders. The team works in an agile environment and supports development teams to make sure that we deliver high-quality property management software products.

A few of the tools and technologies we use are Microsoft Azure, private cloud, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Docker Swarm, Zabbix, Azure Application Insights, Sentry and Grafana.

Your expertise in DevSecOps tools and practices will be critical when Odevo increases its global footprint.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and services to ensure smooth and efficient software development workflows.
• Create, manage, and version infrastructure, to enable reproducible and scalable deployments across different environments.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on platforms, including virtual machines, containers, serverless architectures, and related services.
• Implement and manage configuration management tools, to automate the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networking devices, and other infrastructure components.
• Deploy monitoring and logging solutions to gather and analyze logs, metrics, and events from both system and application levels, and generate actionable insights on system health, performance, and availability.
• Ensure that systems and applications meet security and compliance requirements by implementing security best practices.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and utilities, to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
• Embracing and promoting DevSecOps practices, such as Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD) to enable fast, iterative, and collaborative software development and delivery.

You are a curious person who thrives on improving activities and process, working collaboratively as a part of a team. You have excellent technical and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail. You enjoy taking on new challenges and working with a focus on DevSecOps best practices and meeting targets while being humble and easy to interact with as well as eager to learn. You are fluent in Swedish and English.

Experience

• You have at least five years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, SRE engineer, developer or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, CI/CD, Linux and Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working with container technology, cloud solutions and infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.
