We’re building a team with diverse and unique perspectives in order to help us on our mission to demystify investing. The Sweden office is a start-up within a fast growing scale-up in the UK, our goal is to grow in Sweden, develop the product and take a strong position as a leading stockbroker.


In 2024, we’ll be continuing launching across the EU, following our successful growth in Sweden. We’ll also be transforming our product, developing new features and introducing new products. In the UK, we now have over 1.4m registered users, offering a range of products like the Freetrade Pension, a stocks and shares ISA, and our premium plan, Freetrade Plus. The goal is to expand our offering in Sweden and the EU with a similar proposition.


Our growth has all been possible because of the backing of a passionate group of over 15,000 crowdfunding investors. As we’ve scaled, we’ve also raised money from world-class growth investors including Left Lane Capital, Molten Ventures, and L Catterton. 


We are looking for a sales driven, passionate and creative marketer to join our team. You will be working with marketing and growth initiatives that will drive commercial growth for the business. It is key that you thrive with a fast paced ever changing environment. You want to have a big responsibility and you are comfortable with a big variation regarding every day tasks, that vary a lot in a start-up, pushing organic growth in a smart way through owned media and paid advertising. 

You will:

  • Proactively investigate and identify high potential opportunities to test and incorporate into the channel mix
  • Be responsible to drive growth in Sweden
  • Plan, implement & execute best-in-class owned media marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition while maximising efficiency
  • Management across marketing channels to align with our growth objectives
  • Create content for web, app, and social media in line with our tone of voice, copy & design requests
  • Own growth KPIs, hit and exceed user quality targets whilst driving growth
  • PR relations, grow our brand awareness through PR coverage
  • Make data driven, strategic decisions to optimise channel-mix and improve CAC
  • Research and identify our target group. Implement strategies for each target group 
  • Collaborate with internal team to proactively share insights & opportunities, as well as work on broader marketing campaigns
  • Take an active part in events, research, proactively contacting customers and others to drive growth as well as understanding the perception of our product.

About you:

  • You have 4+ years of experience in sales/marketing/growth performance marketing. 
  • Ideally you have worked in the financial services industry or high-growth tech business
  • You have a strong interest in investing 
  • You enjoy writing as copy would be a big part of the organic growth
  • You have a mindset to get things done 
  • You adopt a growth mindset, always looking for how to increase customer acquisition
  • You are highly organised and have a strong attention to detail
  • You are a self starter, proactive and self-motivated
  • You have expertise in organic growth, digital marketing, experience of SEO & enjoy creating creative content
  • It’s an advantage if you have hands-on knowledge of performance marketing campaign execution across channels such as google, instagram, facebook, twitter and app campaigns. 
  • You are scrappy and hands-on with no hesitation to get in the details.
  • You are happy to challenge the status quo if you believe there are better ways to perform tasks
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing and competing priorities
  • You are driven by Freetrade's mission and uphold our values

The application process consists of a four stage process. You will initially have a phone interview with one of our internal Talent Partners, followed by a call with the hiring manager, the next stage being a task with the hiring manager and members of the wider Marketing team and final round of interviews digging into our values and overall company fit.
