Embedded Developer / Teamlead, Linux OS ref 32298

We are looking for an
experienced Senior Embedded Developer for one of our cliens in
Arninge/Stockholm.

The Embedded Systems
department consists of approximately 17 engineers, including OS developers,
software test engineers, and DevOps specialists. The Linux platform team is
responsible for delivering software platforms and core operating system
functionality used across multiple products and development projects.

We are looking for a
consultant who can combine strong technical expertise with leadership
capabilities. The assignment includes both hands-on software development and
coordination of a team delivering software to new product development projects
as well as sustaining and maintenance activities for released products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a Linux software
  development team.
  
• Plan and drive software deliveries and
  technical activities.
  
• Facilitate backlog refinement and
  sprint planning activities.
  
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and
  communicate status to stakeholders.
  
• Collaborate closely with Program
  Management.
  
• Coordinate work with other
  disciplines, like Middleware Software, User Interface Software,
  Electronics, Verification & Validation
  
• Contribute as a senior software
  developer while leading the team.
  

Competence/Experience – Mandatory

• Experience from minimum 10 years in Embedded Linux development
  
• Strong programming skills in C
  
• Experience with Linux kernel
  development
  
• Device driver development experience
  
• Deep understanding of Linux-based
  embedded systems
  
• Experience with Git-based development
  workflows
  
• Experience with Yocto-based build
  environments
  
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
  pipelines
  
• Proven ability to lead technical teams
  and coordinate complex software deliveries
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder
  management skills
  
• Experience using AI-assisted software
  development tools in daily engineering work
  
• English (verbal and writing)

• Knowledge with ARM-based embedded
  platforms
  
• BSP (Board Support Package) development

• Experience from camera, sensor and imaging
  
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted code
  generation, automated testing, or agentic development workflows
  
• Experience with Zephyr RTOS
