Experienced Visualization and Graphical Designer lead

AFRY Experience Studios is a Design Studio with offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmö, UK, Bologna and Copenhagen. In our Gothenburg Studio - we are visualization artists, strategists, researchers, UX designers, service designers, surface designers, and product designers. In growing this business, we are looking for a Section Manager for one of our Visualization design Teams.

We are expanding! AFRY Experience Studios in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmö and Copenhagen is home to experts working at the intersection of human behavior, physical and digital design, and business. Our team includes strategists, researchers, UX designers, service designers, surface designers, visualization artists, and product designers. As part of our growth, we are seeking a talented Visualization and Graphical Designer. In this role, you will work as a consultant on various projects within your design domain. Join our multidisciplinary design team and help us bridge the gap between digital, physical, and strategic design.

Are you passionate about technology development and have 4-6 years of experience in the visual and graphical design field with a desire to learn more? We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of art direction, visualization design, and exceptional graphical design skills, demonstrated by a compelling portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team with graphical and visual designers.
• Produce high-quality graphical and visual designs.
• Translate user insights into effective graphical and visual solutions.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to prototype potential solutions and concepts.
• Actively contribute to the visual and graphical design team, helping to define the vision and strategy with a focus on learning and sharing.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A background in graphical design, visualization design, logotype design, animation/film creation, and art direction.
• Experience leading design projects, particularly in visual and brand design.
• Strong skills in visual and brand identity development.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and brand managers.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience from working with Notion and the Automotive industry 
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a knack for balancing user needs and business goals.
• A deep understanding of clients' needs.
