External Reporting Specialist

As we expand, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive External Reporting Specialist to ensure our financial reporting is best-in-class, compliant, and forward-thinking.

The Responsibilities

Own external financial reporting – Prepare accurate and timely quarterly and annual reports, including disclosures, footnotes, and supporting documents.
Ensure compliance – Maintain adherence to IFRS standards, SEC regulations, and SOX controls.
Drive efficiency – Support automation, process improvements, and system enhancements for seamless reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally – Work with finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure reporting accuracy.
Be the bridge with auditors – Liaise with external and internal auditors to ensure smooth reporting processes.

The Ideal Candidate

On a personal level you must be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills. A flexible attitude and ability to navigate in a changing environment are prerequisites as Polestar is in a growth phase. Furthermore, you are motivated by working independently as well as in teams and being able to contribute to our exciting journey ahead.

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
•  5+ years of experience in external reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, group consolidation, and SEC regulations.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate complex financial data into clear insights.
• Experience in a US-listed environment is a plus.
