We are looking for a Finance Transformation Lead to drive the continuous development of our client'sFinance function. This is an opportunity to take ownership of Finance transformation initiatives, bridge the gap between Finance and IT, and help build a more efficient, standardized, and digitally enabled Finance organization.

In this role, you will work closely with Finance teams, IT, and key business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, translate business needs into practical solutions, and ensure that new systems, processes, and ways of working deliver measurable value.

You will play a key role in shaping the Finance digitalization roadmap, improving the quality and accessibility of financial information, and enabling better decision-making across the business.

 What you will be responsible for

⚙️ Finance Process & Systems Transformation

• Drive the continuous improvement and standardization of Finance processes, systems, and ways of working.


• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual activities, and improve operational efficiency through automation and digital solutions.


• Act as the business owner for Finance systems, ensuring that they support business requirements and evolving operational needs.


• Translate Finance requirements into clear functional specifications and coordinate system enhancements with IT and external partners.


• Contribute to the development and execution of the Finance digitalization roadmap.

 Reporting, Analytics & Data Quality

• Develop and improve Finance reporting capabilities to provide reliable, relevant, and timely information for business decision-making.


• Identify opportunities to strengthen financial analytics, performance monitoring, and management reporting.


• Improve data quality, consistency, and governance across Finance systems and reporting processes.


• Support the development and maintenance of Finance master data, including structures such as accounts, cost centres, and other relevant financial dimensions.


• Promote standardized reporting definitions, data ownership, and consistent ways of working across the organization.

 Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and define improvement opportunities.


• Facilitate discussions and workshops to translate business needs into clear priorities and actionable solutions.


• Challenge existing processes constructively and recommend improvements that balance business value, control, quality, and efficiency.


• Act as the link between Finance users and technical teams throughout the solution lifecycle.


• Ensure that Finance requirements are clearly understood and reflected in system development and implementation activities.

 Project Delivery, Testing & Implementation

• Lead or coordinate Finance transformation initiatives from requirements definition through implementation and follow-up.


• Plan and coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure that new solutions meet business expectations.


• Manage implementation activities, dependencies, risks, and issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.


• Support the resolution of system and process issues and ensure that changes are implemented in a controlled and structured manner.


• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and identify opportunities for further improvement.

 Change Management & Continuous Improvement

• Drive business adoption of new systems, tools, and processes.


• Prepare and coordinate communication, documentation, and training to support new ways of working.


• Support Finance teams throughout transformation initiatives and ensure that changes are embedded into daily operations.


• Establish a continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, transparency, and scalability.


• Contribute to a Finance organization that is increasingly digital, data-driven, and focused on business value.

 What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who combines a solid understanding of Finance processes with a strong interest in technology, systems, data, and business transformation.

You are comfortable navigating between business and technical discussions, turning complex requirements into practical solutions, and bringing people together to deliver change.

Your background

• Experience within Finance, Finance transformation, Finance systems, business analysis, or a related field.


• A good understanding of core Finance processes, such as financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or period-end closing.


• Experience working with Finance systems, ERP platforms, reporting solutions, or digitalization initiatives.


• Experience translating business needs into requirements and coordinating system or process improvements.


• An understanding of reporting structures, master data, data quality, and the importance of reliable financial information.


• Experience coordinating projects, testing activities, implementations, or business change initiatives.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across Finance, IT, and business functions.

 It is a plus if you have

• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar systems.


• Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or comparable solutions.


• Exposure to Finance automation, workflow optimization, or process standardization.


• Experience with user acceptance testing, change management, or system implementations.


• Experience working in a complex, international, or multi-entity organization.
