Financial Specialist - IKEA Marketing & Communication AB

We are now looking for a Financial specialist for the IMC Business Steering & Operations Finance Team in Älmhult. 

You will be responsible for invoicing, recording financial data, and supporting financial follow-ups. You will contribute to the integration between financial routines and project operation and be the connection between business, project operation, accounting, and ensure monthly closing routines. You will also be recording sales and income correctly and fulfilling internal policy requirements. Ensuring preparation of invoicing document, handover and retention of payment collection notifications to IKEA markets. 

Furthermore, you will:  

• Providing financial reporting and analyses and calculations to serve as decision support and performing continuous data management in financial systems, in accordance with company policies 

• Supporting the business with financial expertise, ad-hoc reporting, development and education in relevant financial tools and ways of working 

• Developing and improving through training and support of related digital tools and ways of working.  

You will work together with great colleagues in the finance team and together with different colleagues in the different teams and functions at IMC. The position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden.  

To shine in this role, we see that you have good financial knowledge (University degree in Business and Economics or corresponding knowledge) and you have good knowledge in project control, business administration and reporting. Good knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially excel). You also manage accounts receivable and accounts payable and have a basic knowledge of accounting principles. You are fluent in Swedish and English both verbal and in writing and you are used to work with Swedish accounting- and tax rules. 

Good level of experience of relevant systems (Coda, Power BI, Dynamics, SAP, Basware) 

You have passion and interest in finance and business performance. You enjoy working together, finding better ways, and getting things done. You are result driven and motivated to reach targets, together with getting energized by handling and solving problems.
