Fullstack AI Engineer 12 Months Contract

The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on experience across several of the following areas, with particular emphasis on building, integrating, and operating production-grade agentic applications:

AI Agents & Agentic Systems

• Agent architecture and established agent design patterns
• Tool and function calling
• Agent orchestration and workflow management
• Multi-agent architectures and systems
• Agent state, context, and memory management
• Planning, reasoning, and decision-making patterns
• Human-in-the-loop workflows and approval mechanisms
• Agent evaluation, testing, and quality assurance
• Guardrails, safety, and responsible AI controls
• Agent tracing, monitoring, and observability
• Model Context Protocol (MCP) and/or equivalent approaches to agent–tool integration
• Secure integration between AI agents and enterprise systems
• Deployment, monitoring, and operation of agentic applications in production

Frontend Development

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript
• CSS and Styled Components
• Frontend state management
• Figma and UX-driven development
• Component-driven development and design systems, such as SKAPA or comparable frameworks
• Accessibility and adherence to WCAG standards

Backend & Integrations

• C# and .NET backend development
• Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures
• API design and integration, including REST, GraphQL, and OpenAPI
• Headless CMS integration, such as Contentful
• Database technologies and strong SQL skills

Platform, Security & Engineering Practices

• Experience with application platforms and security principles
• Cloud-hosted applications and containerised environments
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern engineering practices
• CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery
• Authentication and authorization concepts
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• Information security, data protection, and privacy principles
