Head of Creative & Art Direction

AVOLT is a Swedish design studio that develops, designs and markets objects that extend electricity to devices, deploying Scandinavian design for homes, offices, retail environments and public spaces.

We’re seeking a hands-on and creative Head of Creative & Art Direction to lead AVOLT’s brand identity and visual storytelling across all marketing channels. You’ll be responsible for setting the creative direction, producing high-quality content and campaigns, and ensuring a strong, consistent brand presence in retail, e-commerce, and digital platforms.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, loves design, and enjoys both strategy and execution. You’ll work closely with our founder and our freelance photo and video producers, taking full ownership of the creative vision and having the freedom to shape strategies, test new ideas, and build our marketing function from the ground up. We are a small, agile team with minimal bureaucracy, so you’ll have real influence and responsibility from day one.

ABOUT YOU:

• A creative leader with experience in art direction, branding, and design (7+ years).


• Hands-on—you don’t just manage; you create! You’re skilled in photography, digital content, and marketing visuals.


• Experienced in lifestyle, fashion, or interior design brands.


• Passionate about Scandinavian design and premium branding.


• Comfortable in a small, agile team, taking full ownership of creative projects.


• Business-minded, understanding budgets and ROI on marketing efforts.


• Always looking for new ideas and creative ways to grow a brand.


• Proven experience in retail display and design

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

• 
  Brand Identity & Creative Direction
  
  
  • Define and lead AVOLT’s creative vision, ensuring a premium and consistent brand image.
  
  
  • Develop engaging visual storytelling for product launches and campaigns.
  
  


• Hands-On Content Creation
  
  
  
  • Design and produce social media, e-commerce, newsletters, and ad content.
  
  
  • Plan and direct photoshoots and video productions to ensure high-quality visuals.
  
  
  • Create digital and print materials for launches, collaborations, and events.
  
  


• Retail & Physical Presence
  
  
  • Develop in-store displays and visual materials for our 2,000+ retail partners.
  
  
  • Lead the design of trade show booths and exhibitions to enhance brand impact.
  
  


• Marketing & Collaboration
  
  
  • Work closely with the paid ads and e-commerce teams to deliver strong marketing content.
  
  
  • Ensure the brand experience is consistent across all digital and physical platforms.
