About the division:
Our newly established Tool Flow Solutions division, part of Sandvik Machining Solutions, consists of around 150 employees and two brands. We operate in a fast-paced software business, with a strong focus on growth, aiming to become a world leader in our industry. Welcome to Sandvik!
Your mission:
As the Head of Human Resources and Internal Communications, your mission involves spearheading the transformation of our organizations into a modern, agile, and high-performing entity. This requires developing and executing an organization-wide people strategy that aligns with our vision and business objectives, both short-term and long-term. Your responsibilities include overseeing people, culture, HR policies, change management, and compliance, ensuring that all HR initiatives are in line with our strategy.
In addition, you will be tasked with ensuring effective internal communication within the organization. This involves designing communication channels and tools for transparent and timely interactions. Collaborating with department heads to ensure internal messaging aligns with organizational goals is crucial. To promote dialogue and engagement, you will organize company-wide meetings, town halls, and focus groups.

You will report directly to the President of Tool Flow Solutions and be an active member of our management team. As part of Sandvik Machining Solutions' HR management team, you will have ample opportunities for collaboration within the Sandvik Group. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Given our global operations, travel and efficient digital collaboration across time zones are integral to maintaining a strong presence across the organization.
Your background and character:
In terms of background, you should hold a relevant university degree or equivalent qualification, along with multiple years of experience in formulating and implementing HR strategy in a global setting. Experience in people management, organizational change management, and staff/career development is essential. Your background should demonstrate collaboration with senior management to achieve HR outcomes aligned with strategic objectives, as well as a proven track record in effective communication. Knowledge of software businesses is advantageous. Working in a truly global setting requires the ability to function effectively within a matrix organization structure. Excellent English proficiency, both verbal and written, is a must.
