What you’ll do at Elekta

We are seeking a Head of Procurement for our Business Line Neuro Solution’s. This key role is responsible for shaping and executing the end-to-end procurement strategy, driving sourcing and cost leadership, and ensures world-class performance across cost, quality, delivery, risk, and regulatory compliance. This role is reporting to Head of Neuro Solutions, and the location will be in Stockholm city.

The responsibilities are:

• Define, own, and execute Procurement strategy for Neuro Solutions. 

• Translate long-term strategy into annual tactical plans delivering productivity, supply assurance, and capability building. 

• Partner with the leadership management team to enable product innovation, growth, and lifecycle execution. 

• Lead all sourcing, contracting, and supplier lifecycle management activities for Neuro Solutions. 

• Initiate sourcing actions supporting Product Creation projects and operational requirements. 

• Ensure supplier selection, qualification, and governance meet current and future business needs. 

• Lead commercial, technical, and quality terms in supplier agreements in collaboration with Legal. 

• Negotiate and execute supplier contracts in line with authorization policies. 

• Maintain integrity of supplier reference data, contracts, and pricing in ERP systems. 

Operational excellence & performance 

• Ensure full compliance with Elekta regulatory requirements, and procurement procedures. 

• Establish, track, and continuously improve procurement KPIs.

• Own procurement forecasting, reporting, and transparency aligned with corporate frameworks. 

• Drive supplier performance improvement across cost, quality, delivery, and innovation. 

• Ensure supply continuity and risk mitigation across a complex global supply ecosystem. 

Cross-functional collaboration 

• Work closely with R&D, Operations, Product Management, and Supply Chain to align priorities. 
• Enable early procurement involvement in design, value engineering, and supplier innovation. 

• Actively participate in functional and project forums as a key member of the Neuro Leadership Management Team. 

Relevant knowledge, skills and competencies:

• Master’s degree in business administration or engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience 
• At least 10 years of experience in an international Production and Supply setting, preferable with China.
• Exceptional negotiation and supplier-engagement skills.

• Strong customer orientation and ability to anticipate stakeholder needs. 

• Highly collaborative and effective in cross-functional environments. 

• Results-driven with strong initiative and continuous improvement mindset. 

• Clear, compelling communicator with strong influencing skills at all levels. 

• Advanced analytical and financial modeling capability (e.g., TCO, NPV, cost modeling). 

• Leadership maturity — decisive, respected, calm under pressure and able to manage complexity. 
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification desirable. 

• Ability to excel in a matrixed, international environment. 

• Fluent in Swedish and English.
